Will looks like a small, out of the way Chinese food place really is something to be experienced. There add roles are amazing and have a large variety of them than I've seen anywhere else. And their general's chicken is frankly the best of ever had. Is not overly fried to a crisp and not overly sauced either. Perfectly cooked with a great flavor. So give them a try cause they're definitely worth it.

I find that the quality has gone down a bit in the last few years. Still decent food for the price.

The staff was nice and the prices are good but the food is very mediocre. There is little flavor to the shrimp fried rice and egg roll and the mandarin chicken was very different from any mandarin chicken I’ve ever had. The sauce was thin and tasted sweeter than normal. The chicken was more of a popcorn chicken than the regular chopped slices. I won’t be going back but the restaurant may work for others.

This is a terrible restaurant. The food is old, the establishment is wholly unsanitary, and the staff is openly hostile. I witnessed a staff member harassing customers in the parking lot who were purchasing food from both thier establishment and the one next door. They obviously have a problem with Shake Shack, and frankly, after my treatment at the Egg roll House, I will keep going to Shake Shack but I will never go back to the egg roll House. Don't risk food poisoning eat anywhere else!

Food is fine, prices are reasonable. They do have sit down dining inside, but it self service and most of their business is the drive through. Call, order, come pick up and go!

Always good! Has been consistently great for more years than I can remember. Love meals or just Shrimp fried rice, really good, large shrimp! Will take pictures next time.

First time trying this place and I was not disappointed. The spicy crawfish lo mein was delicious! Great shrimp fried rice and general chicken.

Fabulous like it has been since I was a kid! Love the drive thru. They are quick and friendly and don't use MSG's.

I never ate there but it's next to shake shack and the parking lot is connected. Any way I seen one of the workers at the trash can from my parking spot I was in when you first turn on both lots yesterday walking back to the egg roll restaurant blowing his nose with his apron and wiping his face with it. So glad I seen that because I wanted to try there food but I'll past.

First time trying this place. The food is amazingly good!. The service is so great and you dont find alot of chinese residents with good service around here. I'd def be back. I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special. The shrimp in the rice were huge And serving size was a lot.

Order the boneless chicken with fried rice & it was terrible 🤢 The food had a stale taste...and the egg roll had white clumps of idk 😳inside...

This establishment caters to Third World country clientele. I’ve never seen such a high rating on a place with food this bad. I posted a picture of their name sake dish, the illustrious eggroll. And while it might look disgusting, and have the texture of stale pizza, you cannot even imagine how bad is thing tasted. My shrimp fried rice should have been called sun dried rice and had absolutely no flavor, very strange. The rest of my dish could possibly have been edible had it not been drowned in an brown gravy that had an overpowering horrible taste that coated my mouth like black oil. I washed my mouth out and dug out some chips from my truck, but still can’t get this taste out of my mouth and throat. There are plenty of cheap Chinese places around, none of which should be passed up for this unforgettable restaurant. Enjoy!🤮

Zero stars!!!!! A waste of my money!!! The shrimp fried rice was so nasty, the shrimp were old. I also ordered popcorn shrimp & those were fried harder than a brick! 1st & last visit!

I like their foods and it taste so good all the time.

I love this place. The food is inexpensive and is very good. The inside is kind of nostalgic. And the people who run the place are very welcoming and friendly. I like to go there for the lunch specials. Idk if this would be considered a hole in the wall place but definitely don't pass it up because if you do you are missing out on a good spot

I highly recommend this place. EGG ROLL HOUSE price is fair because if you go other chinese restaurant its either high or low and this place is just right. I think there generals chicken is the best in town. I would also recommend ordering the combination fried rice because they give you a big portion and its good enough for two people to share.If you try this place you won't regret coming there. At first i was skeptical of this place but when i ordered the general chicken with shrimp fried rice i fell in love with coming there.

Considering they are called The Egg Roll House they should have better egg rolls

Ive gotten better Chinese food at a corner gas station. Soooo greasy!! Oil needs to be changed!! Combo fried rice was just bland. Threw away left overs and not worth trying to get a refund. Hot wok on west end, Oriental Triangle on Jefferson Hwy, Youngs on Williams in Kenner, and Mings by the Harbor are 4 places with MUCH better food.

Always fresh, delicious and great portions! Have enjoyed their food for over 20+ years. Haven't had anything bad yet.

Good food, good portions, fast/nice service, decent prices! I've are here twice now. Haven't tried the egg rolls yet (I don't like egg rolls), but the food I have tried had been great!

This place has the best fried rice in town! Super sized portions and extremely reasonable prices on all the Chinese food. They will also serve it up faster than you can say chopsticks.

Fast Friendly Service, but I come for the Food primarily. Egg drop soup was fabulous with just enough egg to give the flavor without interfering with the soup. The dried/fried noodles were not up to par. The Seafood Fried Rice was full of seafood and vegetables cooked to perfection.

I loved it. I ordered a veggie delite with veggie eggrolls. I loved it!

It is really solid Chinese food option. Not much on atmosphere for dine in, but the food is consistent.

My fav is the chicken teriyaki or chicken on a stick for under $2. Three pieces of thigh meat seasoned and grilled with two hunks of grilled onions in between. Perfect as a small but satisfying snack.

I work in Lakeside Shopping Center so I often go to Eggroll House. The food is always hot, fresh, and made to order. I'm on the Keto diet so always have special requests. The staff is beyond friendly and the owner even reminded me once that I forgot to order my food without rice. He made sure that the food was for me and asked if really meant to order rice. WOW! He actually took the time to ask and made sure I was happy. Who still does this? I love this place and I often bring coworkers to join me for lunch. This is a true hidden gem!
